G.C. 366 Siyum SimegneCaptain Dr. Seyoum Simange Zegiorgis came to the United States in January, 1983, and began his undergraduate and graduate studies and obtained his Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees at the Universities of Texas at Dallas , North Texas and Texas A&M, respectively. He has been teaching Computer Networking Technologies in various colleges in Dallas before he started work for leading corporations in the United States . He joined State Farm Insurance as their Information Security professional, and moved to Bloomington , Illinois , USA , in June 2000. After a brief consulting practice, he joined the British Standards Institution (BSI-Americas) as their Client Manager. He is a certified Lead Auditor assessing compliance to the ISO Standards for Quality, Aerospace, Information Systems Security and Information Technology Management Systems. He holds professional certifications as an Information Security Auditor, Information Systems Security and Project Management Professional. His teaching and research areas includes Urban and Regional Development Research. His area of expertise and consulting practice include: Information Systems Auditing, Information Systems Security Management, Project Management; Library Information Management and College Teaching. |
