GC 701 Tassew Sissay

G.C. 701 TASSEW SISSAY, was born in Harar in 1944 (EC), the third child of a family of seven. He attended the Ras Mekonnen Primary School and the Medhane Alem Secondary School. He says that he plays all games to "a reasonable standard". He is very fond of listening to Ethiopian music and is a great reader who particularly admires Will Durrant. Had he not joined the army he would have liked to have been a farmer, and thinks this is an ambition which he will keep until he retires.
