GC #595 KEBEDE MEKASHAKEBEDE MEKASHA, born in Addis Ababa in 1942 (E.G.), he is the second in a family of seven. At school he decided to be a soldier although he had intended to be a farmer at first. Nevertheless he still retains his love of the great outdoors, and prefers nature which is untouched by civilisation. He is keenly interested in jazz music, and likes swimming when the opportunity presents itself. He has visited France and Egypt and this experience has whetted his appetite for further travel later on.
