GC #589 BELEW ABAYBELEW ABAY, born in Ghion in 1942 E.G.), he has three younger sisters. He is fond of camping, riding shooting and volleyball. He is interested in collecting pictures. The seeds of his military ambition were sown when he was in Grade Four and joined the Boy Scouts. He hopes one day to lead a Brigade in action. For the moment marriage does not enter into his scheme of things, although, as he says, he is not blind to feminine beauty. He has already visited Cairo, France and Monte Carlo, and hopes to be able to travel more widely later on. Lt. Col. Belew Abay is missing in action. |
